As per the NEP 2023 guidelines, for the next academic year, applicant's age as on 1st April, as recorded in the birth certificate or aadhar card will determine the eligibility for admission to a particular class.
Age Criteria for Admission

Nursery: 3+ years

LKG: 4+ years

UKG: 5+ years

Class 1: 6+ years

and so on upto class VIII.
For Classes Nursery and KG
Informal interaction between the parents and the school panel.
For Classes I to VIII
Written test and interaction with the child.

Merit is the only criteria for admission.

The previous school record of the child is also taken into account for the admission decision.

The decision of the school panel is final.
Registration Requirements

Original Birth Certificate.

Two passport size photographs of the child.

One passport size photograph of each parent.

School leaving certificate (if applicable).

Latest Report Card of the last school attended (if applicable).

Copy of Aadhar Card of the child and both the parents.
